Choose urgent care when your primary doctor isn't available but the condition isn't severe enough for the emergency room.
Urgent care treats non-life-threatening conditions with shorter wait times and lower costs. Emergency rooms handle life-threatening emergencies like heart attacks, severe injuries, difficulty breathing, and major trauma. If you're unsure whether your condition is life-threatening, Medallus Urgent Care can evaluate and refer you to the ER if needed.
No appointment necessary at any Medallus Urgent Care location in Utah. We offer walk-in urgent care services with extended hours, 7 days a week. Simply walk into any of our 8 Utah locations during operating hours for immediate medical attention from our board-certified physicians.
Medallus Urgent Care offers transparent pricing: $219 for regular visits including X-ray when needed, and $319 for procedure visits such as IV fluids, splinting, casting, suturing, and minor procedures. Premium and Annual members pay $10 visits; Budget Monthly members pay $75 visits. We accept most major insurance plans.

No, the membership is exclusively for services at Medallus Medical clinics and does not cover specialist or hospital visits.
Call any Medallus clinic to schedule an appointment with a Primary Care provider. Primary Care requires an appointment when it's an extensive visit. But you can do Walk-in Primary care for medication refills and simple visits.
If you require a service not covered, such as a radiology read or certain lab tests, you will be informed of any additional costs upfront, often at a discounted rate for members.
Premium Monthly and Annual memberships include the $0 prescription plan. Budget Monthly does not include Rx. The visit with a Medallus provider for prescription evaluation or refills is handled under your plan's visit pricing.

The ability to add dependents to your Medallus Membership depends on how your membership was obtained. Direct Membership with Medallus: If you have enrolled in the membership directly with Medallus, it can include up to two adults and their dependents. Eligible dependents are those up to the age of 26 who are directly related to the adults and residing in the same household. Membership Through Employer: If your membership is provided through your employer, the policy for adding dependents may vary. Please consult your Benefits Director for specific details regarding your employer's plan.
There is no limit to the number of times you can use your Medallus Membership for eligible services within the scope of your plan.
Yes. All direct Medallus membership plans are 12-month memberships. Premium Monthly and Budget Monthly have a 7-day waiting period before membership activation; the Annual Plan does not have the 7-day waiting period.
